I’m honestly floored and so flattered and incredibly happy that he enjoyed them at all. This was my first time being able to give someone a gift as a fan at a con and I was really nervous even though I wasn’t even there to give it to him myself and I’m so happy that he liked them!

I haven’t watched any videos from the panels/signings other than the videos people have been sending me when he’s getting my buttons yet but I didn’t know he had a hard time at NYCC.  My friends old and new who have went to either or have all told me what a sweet heart and how charming Tyler is (and Jeff of course!)   Everyone told me he was super charming and just an amazing  person in general so I really really hope he had a great time in NYC!

Me and buttons have a hate hate relationship and basically me and all my friends who make buttons start crying whenever a con rolls around because

I punch about 600 buttons in 5 hrs nonstop not including the cutting time and the packaging time that adds god knows how long  I generally punch about 1200 before a con and I barely survive by literally watching every show on netflix 5 times over and then I need to punch like 500-800 more at the con because things run out and we all start throwing up on each other but no one’s there to hold our hair back because all our arms fell off

ok for serious though if you’re ready to jump into that trap it’s really easy to find either on ebay or by googling, and I can pretty much tell you that most handpress button makers are the same.I’m not gonna lie it’s a pretty handy machine but it is a bit of an initial investment so buy it only when you plan on investing time into sales (online or cons) because I will tell you right now you won’t touch it after the first week if you buy it as a leisurely thing because it’s not really a fun exercise after the first 10. I can only assume that this is about what’s going on right now because lets face it I’m not a nice enough person to defend people left and right.

You’re misconstruing the fact that the person I was defending (who I found delightful and perfectly courteous during the couple cons I had face time with) happens to be popular to think that because they’re popular, they’re automatically not worth defending when people come at her at her own blog. Also when did pointing out the flaw in someone’s hatred and verbal attacks become a bad thing?  I didn’t attack the person coming at her, I just pointed out the flaw in their logic.

You need to stop with your preconceptions of ‘popular artists’ as faceless names that don’t deserve the same courtesy as every other person

Project Pomegranate is a personal project of mine that I’m working on in my spare time :) I really love learning about different cultures and different types of ethnic dress because I think each culture really brings something beautiful to the world

My art is fueled mostly by puns or turn of words or ideas, so I thought it would be interesting to see if I could take the most defining characteristic of each fairy tale heroine and represent them in a paradoxical way.  (i.e. Snow White’s white skin and black hair, Rapunzel’s long locks etc etc)  I have a loose idea of how I want to play the other stories but it’s just a matter of finding time and the right stroke of inspiration!
